Landscape Quilts

2 techniques are being offered. Your choice:
                
Landscapes - This is an easy class where you will paint with fabric. Bring a photo to class of something you would like to create. KEEP IT SIMPLE. Whereas nature is very easy, buildings are very hard. Start with a large variety of interesting fabrics, especially those which you think represent various aspects of nature. Then, we'll create an illusion of the subject matter. You'll get rave reviews on your artistic talent. A basic class for all sewing levels.
Snippets - Create an impressionistic fabric painting using all of those little bits of fabric you've been saving. Snip, fuse and free motion sewing and magic happens. There will be several options from which to choose.

Machine Know-How Basics

Do you have a brand new machine or an old faithful? Learn to use it to its fullest from basics to buttonholes, blind hems to sewing on buttons. We'll walk you through your machines particular stitches and settings. Many tips and tricks for sewing, mending and quilting. Open to all brands and ages of machines.

Serger Basics
Come learn the basics of operating your Serger and the special techniques it requires for successful sewing. We'll cover machine parts and settings for techniques such as differential feed, corners, ribbings, hems, rolled edges and more. Great start for new owners or a wonderful review for anyone.

Sew Together
Come sew with us. Try something new or finish an old project. Get help with tips, tricks and techniques. Bring your sewing, embroidery or serger machines: We'll even lend you a machine if needed. Now is your chance to have fun, meet other stitchers and learn new things. Sign up for one or more sessions.

Quilter's Workshop
This is an ongoing mostly quilting class. We will have a lesson or tip of the day to start. Since it is an "open Sew" type of class, you may work on any type of project. Finish your UFO's, pick a project from our "A LA CARTE" menu, tackle something new or practice a technique to improve your skills.

Embroidery Club will meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. During each  session we will try something new including different techniques and/or projects. Join us and learn how to get the most out of your embroidery machine. Open to all brands.
