This is the secondary bobbin case that fits both the Husqvarna Viking Epic series and the Pfaff Icon series machines -

Changing the Bobbin Case - The Designer Epic's and Creative Icon's have two different bobbin cases. Bobbin case (#1-gray) is mounted on the machine at delivery and is used for most sewing and embroidering. The second bobbin case (#2-black) is the Straight Stitch Bobbin Case for use when moving the needle position in straight stitch, left of center needle position. . This bobbin case is recommended to use when sewing a straight stitch that has shifted its needle position to the left. A symbol will be shown in the information area on your screen when the Straight Stitch Bobbin Case is recommended.

Note: The older original left-hand needle position bobbin case had a large hole in the base; the newer version is solid at the base. However, both have a small gray brush tuft on the right finger.
