Singer Featherweight Bobbin Case Latch Spring # 210736

An original Bobbin Case is by far the best, so if your latch is loose and floppy and does not spring back in place once released, the spring needs to be replaced. 

To access the spring, you can follow the photographs above. 

On the inside part of the Bobbin Case, you will find a little tiny screw.  Once you unscrew it and remove the latch, you will see a small, teeny spring on the outside front.
