VIKING / PFAFF PORTIONING THREAD TENSION ASSEMBLY COMPLETE.

There is a known issue with the original version of this tension assembly, where the mounting shaft for the tension disks can pull out of its casting. When this happens, the tension disks can't close, and your machine won't stitch correctly. The thread will be very loose and loopy on the underside of the fabric. 

This tension applies only to the machines listed below with the Deluxe Stitch System (DSS) and thread portioning.

This threat tension unit fits several Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff models that use the thread portioning system.

Viking Ruby Deluxe and Ruby Royale, Viking Diamond Deluxe and Diamond Royale

Pfaff Creative Sensation Pro and Creative Sensation Pro II.
